Meet Your Trainers

Our trainers have worked as dancers, figure skaters, personal trainers, group fitness instructors, and STOTT PILATES® trainers.  We’ve been at this awhile and we have pooled our talent to deliver the Pilates Method as it is intended.  We do contemporary Pilates repertoire, but also work to integrate the Pilates Method into strength, cardio, and fascial release techniques to increase spinal stability and mobility, muscle lengthening, strengthening, and balance.

Pam Guarnera has been in the industry for twenty years. Beginning as a group fitness instructor, she worked in gyms and community centers, then as a personal trainer in corporate fitness sites. It was a spine injury that led her to Pilates. Pilates has proven to help her tremendously with injury recovery and has directed her interests to the importance of fascial release. Pam is STOTT PILATES certified instructor. In addition she is an ACE certified group fitness instructor, a NASM certified Personal Trainer and corrective exercise specialist.

Colleen has been an instructor for three decades. She started as a middle school math and science instructor and moved into the fitness industry after realizing that motherhood needed a more flexible schedule. Over the years colleen added different teaching certifications that included an ACE Group Fitness, Personal Trainer, and Health Coach. She was introduced to Pilates during her years at the Sweatshop Health Club which was the Stott Pilates Licensed Training Center for several years. After 5 children, 2 knee surgeries, and working with incredible Stott Instructor Trainers, Colleen was inspired to obtain Full Certification in Pilates. Her next set of passions are in Myofascial Interoception (Fascia and our emotions) as well as Brain Fitness.

Lauren Walstead has over a decade of experience in the health and wellness field working with everyone from competitive and professional athletes to pre/post rehab clients in chiropractic and physical therapy clinics. She has also had the opportunity to teach in a collegiate setting as an adjunct professor in their Kinesiology department. Growing up figure skating fostered her love of movement. Pilates is the perfect combination of her favorite aspects of fitness combining strength and mobility with attention to detail to create a workout adaptable to all fitness goals and life stages. Alongside her STOTT Pilates Certification, Lauren is a NSCA-CPT, Functional Range Conditioning Specialist, is TRX certified and has a Masters of Education in Sport and Exercise Performance.
